Engineering work is taking place between Leicester and Kettering closing some lines.
The Met Office have issued a red weather warning for extreme heat in parts of the country on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 July, with temperatures forecast to reach as high as 40°C in some areas, including London.
Engineering work is taking place between Reading West and Basingstoke all day, closing some lines. As a result services between Reading and Basingstoke will not run.
London Northwestern Railway services will be affected by industrial action on the following dates: Thursday 15 September - ASLEF and RMT Unions Saturday 17 September - RMT Union  Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 September - TSSA Union  
West Midlands Railway services will be affected by industrial action on the following dates: Thursday 15 September - ASLEF and RMT Unions Saturday 17 September - RMT Union  Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 September - TSSA Union  
Due to the hot weather expected for the rest of the week, speed restrictions are being imposed for safety reasons in multiple locations across the South Western Railway network. South Western Railway services may be cancelled, delayed or revised as a result.
Due to planned industrial action by the ASLEF union, Great Western Railway expect services to be severely affected on Saturday 13 August. A significantly reduced temporary timetable will be in place.
Engineering work is taking place between Ledbury and Hereford, closing all lines. From London Paddington:
Following a trespass incident at Maryland there is residual disruption to trains between London Liverpool Street and Romford.
A fault with the signalling system between Gidea Park and Harold Wood means some lines are blocked between these stations.
