Amber and Yellow weather warnings for Storm Ciarán have been issued by the Met Office, from today until early morning on Friday 3 November, and also Saturday 4 November in some areas.
Over the next few days, heavy rain and strong winds are forecast across parts of the ScotRail network, therefore services will be cancelled or revised in order to manage and keep disruption to a minimum.
The following routes have speed restrictions in place as a result of the adverse weather:
- Glasgow Queen Street / Edinburgh - Aberdeen
- Inverness / Dundee - Aberdeen
- Edinburgh - Dundee / Perth / Glenrothes-with-Thornton
