A problem with the station lighting at Walton-on-Thames means that trains running towards Surbiton are unable to call at this station and will be revised.

Disruption is expected until 21:00.

What South Western Railway are doing about it

South Western Railway have been informed there is a lighting issue at Walton-on-Thames station. This means trains will not be calling at this station in the direction of Surbiton owing to safety reasons.

Passengers from Walton-on-Thames travelling in the direction of London Waterloo are advised to take the next train to Weybridge and change trains for stations to London Waterloo.

Passengers travelling to Walton-on-Thames from Woking in the direction of London Waterloo are advised to continue their journey to Hersham and change trains for services back to Walton-on-Thames
