Between Blackpool South and Colne
To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted on the following alternatives:
- Blackpool Transport buses between Blackpool stations and Lytham
- Northern between Preston and Blackpool North
- Northern between Blackburn and Preston
All ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption.
Rail replacement transport will run as follows:
- Full sized buses will depart Preston, calling all stations to Colne at 11:57, 13:56, 15:56, 17:56, 19:58 and 22:02.
- Full sized buses will depart Blackburn, calling all stations to Preston at 10.04 and 12.15.
- Full sizes buses will depart Colne, calling all stations to Preston at: 11.20, 13:21, 15:21, 17:21, 19:21 and 21:25
- A full sized bus will depart Blackpool South at 21:18, calling all stations to Preston then set down as required to Colne.
- A full sized bus will depart Preston at 22:02, calling all stations to Mill Hill Lancs then set down as required to Colne.
- A full sized bus will depart Blackburn at 22:35 calling all stations to Colne.
- Buses will be operated by Phantom Travel, Coastal Coaches and S-Line.
Please be advised journey times will be extended by up to 90 minutes when using replacement road transport.
Between Manchester Victoria and Stalybridge
To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted on the following alternatives:
- TransPennine Express between Manchester stations and Stalybridge
- Metrolink between Manchester stations and Ashton-Under-Lyne
- Metrolink services between Manchester stations
All ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption.
Rail replacement transport will run as follows:
- 1 S-Line bus will depart Manchester Victoria at 23.10, all stations to Stalybridge.
Please be advised journey times will be extended by up to 30 minutes when using replacement road transport.
