Engineering work is taking place between Potters Bar / Hertford North and St Neots / Cambridge, closing most lines.

Many stations will not be served on Sunday 3 December. Due to the limited service, you are encouraged to travel on Saturday 2 December instead, if possible.

The following stations will have no service for the whole day:

Arlesey, Ashwell and Morden, Baldock, Biggleswade, Brookmans Park, Foxton, Hatfield, Huntingdon, Knebworth, Letchworth Garden City, Meldreth, Royston, Sandy, Shepreth, Watton-at-Stone, Welham Green and Welwyn North.

There will be NO alternative travel options from these stations. No trains will run between:

  • Potters Bar and St Neots­.
  • Potters Bar and Cambridge.
  • Hertford North and Stevenage.

A reduced train service will run between:

  • London Kings Cross and Potters Bar.
  • Moorgate and Potters Bar.
  • Moorgate and Hertford North.
  • St Neots and Peterborough.
  • Cambridge and Kings Lynn.

A limited rail replacement bus service will run between:

  • St Neots and Bedford operated by LNER.
  • Stevange and Luton Airport Parkway via Hitchin.
  • Audley End and Cambridge North.
  • Welwyn Garden City and St Albans City. These buses have yet to be uploaded to online Journey Planners. Services that are running will be busier than usual, so queueing systems may be in place and you may not be able to board your chosen service. Your tickets will also be accepted on Thameslink services between Bedford, Luton Airport Parkway and London St Pancras International. ​​​​​​​
