Engineering work is taking place between in the Orpington area, closing all lines.

As a result services will be unable to run via Orpinton all weekend.

  • Paddock Wood Line:

Saturday:

  • Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate / Dover via Tonbridge will be retimed and use an alternative route between London Bridge and Sevenoaks.

 

Sunday:

  • Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate via Canterbury West will be retimed and use an alternative route between London Bridge and Sevenoaks. These services will only run between London Charing Cross and Dover Priory due to further engineering works. Services between London Charing Cross and Dover Priory will be diverted between London Bridge and Ashford International to run via Maidstone East and will be extended to Minster because of further engineering work.

 

  • Hastings Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings will be retimed and diverted via an alternative route between London Bridge and Sevenoaks, and will be unable to stop at Orpington.
  • Bromley North Line: Services between Grove Park and Bromley North will be retimed (these services do not run on Sunday).
  • Grove Park Line: Stopping trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks will only run between London Charing Cross and Chislehurst. Stopping services between London Cannon Street and Orpington will not run.
  • Bromley South Line: Trains between London Victoria and Orpington via Beckenham Junction will only run between London Victoria and Bromley South.
  • Medway Valley Line: Trains between Paddock Wood and Strood will be retimed to connect with services at Paddock Wood.

 

Rail replacement buses will run between:

  • Chislehurst and Sevenoaks
  • Bromley South and Orpington
