Engineering work is taking place at Cardiff Queen Street, closing various lines.

All day on Saturday and Sunday, no trains will run to / from / via Cardiff Queen Street.

Trains to / from Treherbert, Aberdere, and Merthyr Tydfil will be diverted between Cardiff Central and Radyr via Ninian Park, and will not call at Cardiff Queen Street, Cathays, or Llandaf.

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Cardiff Central and Caerphilly / Ystrad Mynach / Bargoed / Rhymney
  • Cardiff Central and Radyr via Cardiff Queen Street, Cathays, and Llandaf
  • Cardiff Bay and Radyr via Cardiff Queen Street, Cathays, and Llandaf
  • Cardiff Central and Penarth

Ticket Acceptance:

You can use Cardiff Bus services at no extra cost between Cardiff Central and Coryton on Saturday (no bus service is available on Sunday). Additionally, you can use Cardiff Bus services at no extra cost between Cardiff City Centre and Cardiff Bay (Route 6).
