Urgent repairs to the track at Ulceby means that the line is closed. Trains running between Ulceby and Barton-on-Humber will be cancelled.

Disruption is expected until 16:00

Customer advice:

There are urgent repairs to the track needed at Ulceby. This is between Grimsby Town and Barton-on-Humber and is disrupting trains on the Cleethorpes / Barton-on-Humber route.

Network Rail are on their way to investigate the problem. They are estimated to arrive at 14:30.

How does this affect my train?

Trains running through the area in both directions are unable to run between Ulceby and Barton-on-Humber.

All trains will start and terminate at Ulceby until further notice.

As soon as the problem is fixed our priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. East Midlands Railway expect their advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 16:00.

How do I get where I need to be?

You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.

East Midlands Railway are currently looking at alternative arrangements to keep you on the move. Please remember that this can take time and be assured that the team are working tirelessly to arrange this as quickly as possible for you.

East Midlands Railway are currently looking into sourcing rail replacement buses to shuttle between Ulceby and Barton-on-Humber. Further details will follow once these have been confirmed.
