Engineering work is taking place in the Bedford area, closing some lines. ​​​​​​​

Due to major engineering works, East Midlands Railway will operate a reduced timetable.

All EMR intercity trains will start or terminate at Bedford instead of London St Pancras International.

Some trains may also be making additional calls at Market Harborough, Kettering and Wellingborough.

EMR Connect trains will operate between Bedford / Kettering and Corby.

Trains may depart from stations earlier than usual and arrive at their destinations later than usual.

Buses will run between Bedford and Hitchin and Hitchin to Luton Airport Parkway. It is not yet known how Thameslink are affected by these works.
