A fault with the signalling system between Rugby and Milton Keynes Central means all lines are blocked.

Services that run directly between Rugby and Milton Keynes Central and also services that run via Long Buckby and Northampton are affected.

Trains will be delayed by up to 60 minutes, cancelled or revised.

Major disruption is expected until 16:00.

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

Your ticket is also valid via any reasonable route on the following services at no extra cost:

• Chiltern Railways
• CrossCountry
• LNER

Please note that major track improvements are taking place between Newcastle and York which will affect CrossCountry and LNER services today.
