A fault of the electricity supply between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport / Reading means some lines are blocked. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 60 minutes.

We have received a notification of a failure of the electricity supply affecting some lines between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport / Reading.
Engineers are working to establish the cause of the failure and what areas are affected. Some sections of the line may temporarily have no power which means trains may be unable to be move in the affected area. Stations may also be impacted and emergency lighting or back-up supplies may need to be utilised so that passengers can board and alight trains safely.
Engineers and signalling staff are working hard to restore power to all areas. We will provide you with regular updates and inform you when the lines have reopened.
