A person has been hit by a train between Clapham Junction / London Euston and Watford Junction.

Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. Trains running between may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Major disruption is expected until 17:15.

Advice for London Northwestern Railway customers:

You may use your ticket on the following services at no extra cost:

  • Avanti West Coast via any reasonable route
  • Chiltern Raiways via any reasonable route
  • Great Northern via any reasonable route
  • Southern via any reasonable route
  • Thameslink via any reasonable route

Rail replacement buses are in operation between Milton Keynes Central and Watford Junction.

Advice for Southern customers:

Southern services operating between Watford Junction and Clapham Junction will be affected. Services will be starting and terminating at Shepherd's Bush. Please allow at least 30 minutes extra to complete your journey. Please check journey planners for the latest information regarding your intended service. You will need to use alternative transport for some or all of your journey. Other rail operators in this area are also affected.

The following stations will have no rail service, and you will need to use an alternative method of transport:

  • Watford Junction
  • Harrow & Wealdstone
  • Wembley Central

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on:

  • London Buses between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction
  • London Northwestern Railway services between London Euston and Tring - for Wembley Central, Harrow and Wealdstone, Watford Junction - and also between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey - for services towards St Pancras (Please note, these services are also impacted, and are subject to changes and cancellations)
  • Chiltern Railways between London Marylebone, Wembley Stadium and Harrow-on-the-Hill
  • Avanti West Coast between London Euston and Watford Junction (Please note, these services are also impacted and are subject to changes and cancellations)
  • London Overground between London Euston and Watford Junction - for Wembley Central, Harrow and Wealdstone - and also between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction - for Imperial Wharf, West Brompton, Kensington Olympia, Shepherds Bush (Please note, these services are also impacted and are subject to changes and cancellations)
  • London Underground via any reasonable route including routes via:
    • London Euston
    • Central line for Shepherds Bush
    • Bakerloo line for Wembley Central and Harrow & Wealdstone
    • Metropolitan line for Wembley Park and Harrow on the Hill
    • District line for West Brompton and Kensington Olympia
    • Jubilee line for Stanmore, and a bus connection to Watford Junction on London Bus route 142
