All lines have now reopened following an earlier fault on a train between Eastleigh and Basingstoke. Trains running between these stations may continue to be delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

• CrossCountry services between Basingstoke and Reading (in both directions)
• Great Western Railway services between Basingstoke and London Paddington via Reading (in both directions)
• Stagecoach South 66 between Romsey and Winchester
• Stagecoach South 64 between Winchester and Alton (for London Waterloo)
