LNER services will be affected by industrial action on the following dates:
- Saturday 1 October (strike action by ASLEF, TSSA and RMT unions)
- Wednesday 5 October (strike action by ASLEF union)
- Saturday 8 October (strike action by RMT union)
Saturday 1 October:
There will be no LNER service to / from stations north of York, and LNER are advising customers not to travel to / from stations north of York. A limited service will run only on the routes listed below:
- Between London Kings Cross and York
- Between Doncaster and Leeds
Wednesday 5 October:
Although plans have not yet been finalised, a limited service is expected to operate.
Saturday 8 October:
Plans and advice for Saturday 8 October will be published here when known.
Days before, between and after strike days:
The days before, between and after strike days are likely to be disrupted. First trains of the day may depart later than normal and service may finish earlier than normal.

Check before you travel:
The National Rail Enquiries Journey Planner will be updated on Tuesday 27 September for the services on Saturday 1 October and on Thursday 29 September for the services on Wednesday 5 October. The industry is still working on the plans for Saturday 8 October.
