Strike action has been announced by the ASLEF union, affecting Great Northern, Gatwick Express, Southern and Thameslink services on the following dates:

• Wednesday 1 February
• Friday 3 February

No Great Northern, Gatwick Express, Southern and Thameslink services will operate on the strike days.

The disruption from a strike day will have a knock-on effect which means that first services will begin much later than normal, with no services before 7am. This could be later depending on where you are travelling from, so make sure to check your journey.

We expect first services to be extremely crowded and you may not be able to board your chosen service. You are advised to start your journey later on in the morning.
