Industrial action is taking place on several dates in December 2022 and January 2023, affecting Great Northern, Gatwick Express, Southern and Thameslink services. 48 hour strikes will take place on the dates below:
Additionally, there has been further strike action announced over the Christmas period which will take place from 18:00 on Saturday 24 December until 06:00 on Tuesday 27 December 2022.
Please note, there will also be an overtime ban across the railway network from Sunday 18 December until Monday 2 January. Services may be extremely limited throughout this period.
Customer Advice:
You are advised to only travel if absolutely necessary and expect severe disruption. The railway will operate limited opening hours with services starting later than normal and finishing in the late afternoon. Please check your first and last trains carefully (once confirmed), as there will be no alternative travel outside of these services.
