The ASLEF Union has announced that strike action will be taken by its members on Monday 8 April.
There is also an ASLEF Union overtime ban from Thursday 4 April to Saturday 6 April, and from Monday 8 April to Tuesday 9 April.
On Thursday 4, Friday 5, Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 April, the usual non-stop Gatwick Express service between London Victoria, Gatwick Airport and Brighton will not operate.
To help customers Gatwick Express have added extra stops at Clapham Junction and East Croydon, and as such these trains will be operating as Southern services. Gatwick Express tickets are valid on Southern and Thameslink at no additional cost.
On Saturday 6 April Gatwick Express plan to operate their usual Saturday service.
On Sunday 7 April Gatwick Express are planning to operate an amended service; however, details of the service plan are still being finalised. Once confirmed, we will update this page with further information.

Southern plan to operate their usual Saturday service.
Sunday 7 April
Southern are planning to operate an amended service on this day; however, details of the service plan are still being finalised. Once confirmed, we will update this page with further information.
Monday 8 April
A very limited Southern shuttle service calling at Gatwick Airport and London Victoria will be in operation only (operating between approximately 05:00 and 23:00).
No other Southern services will be running.
Please check journey planners, as the departure times and frequencies of these shuttle services will vary throughout the day.
These services are expected to be extremely busy. Queueing systems will be in place, and you may not be able to board your chosen service. If you are planning to travel on one of the last trains of the day, please be aware that, depending on the size of the queue, you may not be able to board a service at all, and no alternative transport options will be provided after the last train departs. Please plan ahead and leave plenty of time to reach your destination.
Tuesday 9 April
An amended timetable with fewer services will be operating. Services will start later than normal due to strike action taking place the previous day.
