Disruption at West Croydon expected until 12:00

A trespass incident at West Croydon is resulting in disruption to trains running through this station. 

Trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 12:00.

London Overground customer advice:
To help with your journey, tickets will be accepted on the following services:

  • Docklands Light Railway via any reasonable route
  • Greater Anglia services between London Liverpool Street and Stratford
  • Great Northern services between Moorgate and Drayton Park
  • London Buses via any reasonable route
  • London Overground services via any reasonable route
  • London Underground via any reasonable route
  • Southeastern services between London Cannon Street / London Charing Cross / London Victoria and Elmers End / Greenwich / Lewisham
  • Southern services between London Bridge / London Victoria / Beckenham Junction and Tulse Hill / Croydon stations / Crystal Palace
  • South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction
  • TfL Rail services between London Liverpool Street and Stratford
  • Thameslink services between Blackfriars / London Bridge and Catford / Croydon stations
  • Tramlink via any reasonable route

Southern and Thameslink customer advice:

Trains in the West Croydon area are currently being delayed due to a trespasser on the line.

This is also now disrupting trains between East Croydon and Central London due to the location of the incident.

Your journey will take longer than usual. If possible, please travel later. If you continue to travel now, you may need to use an alternative route.

Some services will need to be revised to call at different stations or diverted to avoid the area (for example, trains which usually run via West Croydon may divert onto the route through Mitcham Junction).

Please listen carefully to all announcements and check departure boards before you join your train.

Ticket acceptance:

Southern and Thameslink have mutual ticket acceptance in place in the area.

Southern and Thameslink tickets will also be accepted on:

  • Trams between Mitcham Junction, West Croydon and East Croydon
  • TfL Buses across the area
  • Tube services across London
  • South Western Railway services between Dorking, Clapham Junction and London Waterloo; and between Southampton Central / Portsmouth Harbour and London Waterloo
  • Southeastern services between Central London and Hastings
