A points failure between Oxted and Uckfield means that services will terminate / start back from Ashurst.

Disruption is expected until 12:30.

Customer advice:

Services cannot run between Edenbridge Town and Hurst Green, due to a points failure between these stations.

This means that services that usually run between Uckfield and Oxted will be cancelled.

We'd advise delaying travelling until later today. If you travel now then your journey will be extended by approximately 90 minutes, so allow extra time to account this.

You'll likely need to use an alternative route to complete your journey. Tickets will be accepted on the following for no extra cost:

  • Southeastern services that run between Tunbridge Wells and London
  • Brighton & Hove bus routes 28/29 between Uckfield, Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells
  • Southern and Thameslink services via any reasonable route, including to / from East Grinstead. Please note that there is engineering work today, closing all lines between Gatwick Airport and East Croydon / London, and so you are advised to use services that run on this route (i.e. services from Lewes / Haywards Heath).
