A broken rail in the Severn Tunnel Junction area means the line towards Cardiff Central is blocked. As a result, services running through this station may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes, revised or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Services towards south Wales will divert where possible via Gloucester. Please note this will add additional time to journeys.

  • Transport for Wales between Gloucester and Newport

Services towards Newport are unable to call at Severn Tunnel Junction.

Replacement road transport has been requested to operate between Chepstow and Newport serving all stations. More information will follow once this has been confirmed.
