Cable theft at Knottingley means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

This is expected until 09:00.

Customer Advice:

Ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption.

Effect on service:

  • Leeds to Knottingley services will terminate and restart at Pontefract Monkhill
  • Goole to Leeds services are unable to run
  • Sheffield to York services are unable to run in both directions

Northern have requested road replacement transport and are awaiting confirmation. More information will follow once this is in place.

Journey times will be extended by 1 hour whilst travelling by road transport.
