What's happened?
A small fire developed on the 15:00 Dover Priory to Charing Cross service, before it departed Dover Priory this afternoon.
The fire service attended and promptly extinguished the fire
Network Rail and Southeastern response staff are on site, undertaking safety checks on the train and the track.
Power to the lines at Dover Priory has been turned off.
How does this affect my journey?
No trains can run via Dover Priory until further notice.
Services on the below routes are being delayed and may be revised or cancelled:
- London Charing Cross to Dover Priory via Folkestone and Maidstone East
- London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover Priory
- âââââââLondon Victoria to Dover Priory via Chatham and Canterbury East

- 15 - between Dover and Canterbury
- 81 - between Dover, Deal, Walmer and Sandwich
- 102 - between Dover and Folkestone
