Urgent repairs to the track between Gatwick Airport and Purley via Redhill means that Thameslink trains running between these stations will be diverted and not a call at Earlswood, Redhill, Merstham and Coulsdon South between 21:00 until 22:30.

Customer Advice

From 21:00 tonight, there will be a block of some lines at Redhill for 90 minutes meaning some Thameslink services will be diverted.

The below alterations will occur:

  • Thameslink services which run between Gatwick Airport and Bedford will divert and not call at Earlswood, Redhill, Merstham and Coulsdon South
  • Thameslink services which run between Horsham and Peterborough will also divert but call additionally at Purley

If you are travelling to / from Redhill, you will be able to use your ticket at no extra cost with Southern services to Purley and change here for trains to Gatwick Airport.
