Trees blocking the railway in multiple locations means various Southern routes will be delayed, revised or cancelled.
Customer Advice
Due to heavy winds this morning caused by Storm Bert Southern currently have multiple trees that have been blown down onto the railway.
Currently trees are blocking the railway in the following areas
- Ashtead closing the line between Epsom and Dorking
- Penshurst blocking the line between Tonbridge and Redhill
- Cowden blocking the line between Hurst Green and Uckfield
If you travelling on any of these routes you will need to allow an extra 60 minutes to complete your journey as you will need to travel on an alternative route.
Please note that due to Storm Bert other travel operators are likely to be disrupted also so please plan ahead before starting your journey.
