A problem with line-side equipment at Shortlands means that Southeastern trains away from London cannot call at the station. Disruption is expected to continue until approximately 20:00.

What's happened?

A problem with line-side equipment at Shortlands means that Southeastern trains away from London are unable to call at the station. Trains can still run through the station but will not be able to stop. Thameslink trains are still able to stop at the station as they do not use this equipment.

How does this affect my journey?

------------------------------------

Stopping trains between London Victoria and Bromley South / Orpington are not able to call at Shortlands until later this evening while the line-side equipment is fixed.

Thameslink trains towards Sevenoaks and Orpington are able to stop at Shortlands, and all trains towards London can still stop at the station normally as well.

What do I need to do?

------------------------

If you're travelling from London towards Shortlands, you'll need to travel to Bromley South and change there for services back towards London which can stop at Shortlands.

If you're travelling from Shortlands towards Bromley South or Orpington, you will need to use Thameslink services.
