A failure of electricity supply between Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace is causing disruption to Great Northern services between Finsbury Park and Stevenage. As a result, trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 15 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 20:00.
Customer Advice:
Due to an electrical supply issue affecting access to and from one of our depots, some trains may be cancelled. Delays may also occur on services towards Finsbury Park as one of the two slow / stopping lines is also being affected by the electrical issue.
Your journey time may be extended as you may have to wait longer for an available service, so please allow extra time to reach your destination.
Can you tell me more about the incident?
We have been advised by Network Rail of an electrical supply issue, which is affecting our Hornsey depot. Until the issue is fixed, some services may be cancelled as the trains are trapped within the depot.
