Reduced service to run on the Intercity Route on Monday 19th June
What has happened?Â
There are engineering works which will not be finished on time in the Luton area on Monday 19th June. This will disrupt trains on the Sheffield / Nottingham / London St Pancras International route.
Network Rail have teams on site and expect that the line will reopen on Tuesday 20th June.
How does this affect my train?
One of the 4 lines between Luton and London St Pancras International will be closed all day. This means services on the Intercity route will be reduced,
Sheffield to London St Pancras International:
Instead of 2 train per hour to / from London St Pancras International from Sheffield there will be 1 train in each direction per hour.
Nottingham to London St Pancras:
Instead of 2 trains per hour to / from London St Pancras from Nottingham there will be 1 train in each direction per hour.
Connect Services:
Will run as booked
At present we are expecting the affected line to reopen on Tuesday 20th June and plan to run a full timetable from start of service.
How do I get where I need to be?
