A person has been hit by a train between Three Bridges and Brighton.

Trains running between these stations may be cancelled or delayed until approximately 19:00.

We regret to advise that a person has been hit by a train. We're working together with Network Rail, the emergency services and emergency response staff to understand the impact on passenger journeys, and will let you know as soon as we have more information.

  

Can I travel with another operator?

You're able to use your ticket on any Southern and Thameslink service via all reasonable routes at no cost. You're also able to use the following Metrobus services:

 

  • 272 for Crawley, Three Bridges, Haywards Heath, Wivelsfield, Burgess Hill, Brighton

  • 271 for Crawley, Haywards Heath, Wivelsfield, Burgess Hill, Hassocks, Brighton

  • 273 for Crawley and Three Bridges, Brighton (Fastest to Brighton)

  • 291 for Crawley, Three Bridges, East Grinstead

  • 400 for Gatwick Airport, Crawley, Three Bridges.

  • 420 for Reigate. (Crawley on Sundays only)

  • 430/435 for Reigate, Redhill and Merstham.

  • 460 Reigate, Redhill, Salfords, Horley, Gatwick, Crawley

  • 100 Three Bridges, Gatwick, Horley, Salfords, Earlswood, Redhill
