Overheard wire problems at Elsenham means that all lines are currently blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 16:30.

Greater Anglia Customer Advice:

We have received reports of overhead wire tripping in the Elsenham area, as a result and due to safety reasons, the overhead wires will have to be examined before trains are able to run through the area. Network Rail response team are on route to the site to investigate.

Because of this, train services between London Liverpool Street and Bishops Stortford, Stansted Airport and Cambridge will be severely disrupted.

Passengers wishing to travel to Cambridge may travel via London Kings Cross to Cambridge on Great Northern services. Greater Anglia tickets will be accepted on this route.

Tickets will also be accepted on London Underground services between London Liverpool Street and London Kings Cross or any reasonable route to London Kings Cross.
