Flooding between Gargrave and Hellifield means trains have to run at reduced speeds on the lines from Skipton towards Carnforth / Carlisle. As a result, trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 45 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 13:00.

Additional information:

Network Rail staff are on site monitoring the water levels and assessing the situation. The line from Skipton towards Lancaster and Carlisle has a 5mph speed restriction in place to allow trains to safely run through the area.

Trains are able to run as normal on the line towards Skipton / Leeds.
