Due to a points failure between Tisbury and Salisbury fewer trains are able to run on some lines.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 16:00.
South Western Railway have been informed that there is a problem with a set of points between Tisbury and Salisbury. This means that fewer trains are able to run on some lines.
Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:
Trains running between Salisbury and Exeter St Davids will be diverted via Westbury and therefore will not call at Tisbury, Gillingham, Templecombe, or Sherborne.
Services that have come from Exeter St Davids and are heading towards London Waterloo are still able to call at these stations.
Replacement road transport has been requested to run between Salisbury and Yeovil Junction calling at Tisbury, Gillingham, Templecombe, and Sherborne. Coaches have been sourced and are due to be in place at Yeovil Junction from around 13:30 and at Salisbury from around 13:00.
