Urgent repairs to the track at Gidea Park need to be carried out, meaning fewer trains are able to run on the lines. Trains running through between Romford and Shenfield may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 5 minutes.

Due to emergency engineering work being carried out in order to correct a defect in the track near Gidea Park, only 2 of the 4 lines are open between Shenfield and Gidea Park. The reduced number of lines means that we will not be able to run the usual number of trains through the area and the following alterations to services will be in place:

• 05:40 Clacton-on-Sea to London Liverpool Street will terminate at Colchester
• 06:08 Southminster to London Liverpool Street to terminate at Shenfield
• 06:10 Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street is cancelled
• 06:13 Witham to London Liverpool Street will terminate at Shenfield
• 07:33 London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria is cancelled
• 07:36 London Liverpool Street to Colchester Town to start at Colchester

Other services may be delayed between Shenfield and Gidea Park.

Greater Anglia tickets are being accepted on c2c services between London Fenchurch Street and Southend Central and also on Elizabeth line services between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
