A fault with the signalling system between Redhill and Purley is causing disruption to journeys running between these stations. As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
We anticipate this to continue until 17:00.
Customer advice
Due to a fault with the signalling system in the Merstham area, fewer trains than usual will run between Redhill and Purley in the direction towards East Croydon / London.
Thameslink trains will not call at the following stations:
Horley
Salfords

Redhill
Merstham

Southern services will call at stations as normal, but it may be faster to travel to Purley, and then change trains for service towards your destination.
Your journey may take up to 20 minutes longer than usual, so please check journey planners and station information boards, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
