Matlock / Derby / Nottingham
Trains running through the area in the Derby/ Matlock direction cannot run.
Trains running through the area in the Nottingham direction can run however there will be alterations and delays.
Newark Castle - Crewe
Trains running through the area in the Derby/ Crewe direction cannot run.
Trains running through the area in the Newark Castle direction can run however there will be alterations and delays.
Intercity
Trains running through the area in the Derby / Sheffield direction cannot run or may be diverted
Trains running through the area in the London St Pancras International direction can run however some delays may apply.
At present East Midlands Railway are expecting the problem to be fixed in the next 3 hours. As soon as the problem is fixed the priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. Staff do not have an estimate as to when they will be able to run trains to their advertised timetable.
How do I get where I need to be?
You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed.
East Midlands Railway have arranged for you to use your ticket on CrossCountry services via any reasonable route to help keep you on the move.
Buses will run to help keep you on the move from Derby, Nottingham and East Midlands Parkway to help keep you on the move. These buses are not yet able to run to an advertised timetable. Please seek help from station staff if you are unsure how to travel.
