The emergency services dealing with an incident between Manchester Victoria and Salford Crescent. Whilst the do their work, some lines are closed. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or diverted.

Trains are unable to call at Salford Central.

Disruption is expected until 16:30.

Northern

You may use your ticket on Manchester Metrolink Tram services between Manchester Victoria and all city centre stations.

Customers are advised to board alternative services from Manchester Piccadilly / Manchester Oxford Road / Deansgate and utilise the tram network to get around the city centre.

You may also use your ticket on Transport for Wales and TransPennine Express via any reasonable route.

Ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption.

To / from Salford Central station.

Customers can board the Bee Network 100 Bus to / from Salford Central (Chapel Street) and Manchester Victoria station where onward connections will be available. Customers will be required to purchase a ticket to travel on the local buses.
