Failure of the electricity in a depot at Streatham is causing disruption between London Victoria and Epsom / Crystal Palace. Trains may be cancelled. This is expeted until 08:00.

A number of routes will be impacted in both directions as a result of this issue.

  • London Victoria to Sutton
  • London Victoria to Epsom
  • London Victoria to Dorking
  • London Victoria to London Bridge, and services via Crystal Palace

 

To aid your journey, your ticket will be valid on the following, at no extra cost to yourself:

London Overground between West Croydon/Crystal Palace and New Cross Gate (for Norwood Junction, Anerley, Penge West, Sydenham, Forest Hill, Honor Oak Park, Brockley)

  • London Underground via any reasonable route
  • London Buses between Epsom, East Croydon and Victoria
  • Tramlink between Wimbledon, Beckenham Junction and East Croydon
  • Mutually between Thameslink and Southern services

 

Can you tell me more about the incident?

A failure of the electricity supply has been reported at our Streatham depot, and this will not allow us to release a number of units into service. We are working with our Network Rail colleagues, as well as UK Power Networks, to determine the issue, and try to resolve it as quick as possible
