Urgent repairs to the track between London St Pancras International and London Blackfriars means trains have to run at a reduced speed between these stations. Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 10 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 05:00 on Monday 3 April.
Customer Advice:
A damaged rail at Farringdon means that southbound services through the station (towards Blackfriars) will experience delays of up to 10 minutes until the end of the day.
In addition to this, short-notice engineering work will be carried out overnight tonight, Sunday 2 April, to fix the damaged rail. As a result, the line between London Bridge / Blackfriars and London St Pancras International will be closed from 23.00 tonight, and no trains will run between these stations until approximately 05.00 tomorrow, Monday 3 April, morning.

From approximately 23.00 tonight, the following will apply:
Services to / from Brighton, Gatwick Airport, Three Bridges & Gillingham:
These will run to / from London Bridge instead.
Services to / from Sevenoaks:
These will run to / from London Victoria instead.
Services to / from Mill Hill Broadway:
These will either be cancelled, or will run between Mill Hill Broadway & London St Pancras International only.
Please note that planned engineering work means that there are no trains running north of Mill Hill Broadway to / from St Albans, Luton and Bedford today until 04.00 tomorrow morning, Monday 3 April. The first direct trains from Bedford, Luton & St Albans into London tomorrow morning are expected to be affected by this additional short-notice engineering work at Farringdon.
The main impact from tonight's engineering work will be to journeys across London and north of London to / from Mill Hill Broadway. Tickets will be accepted the following to assist you with completing your journey:
- London Underground via any reasonable route. Please note the last services normally finish running between 23.00-00.00.
- London Buses between Central London & Mill Hill Broadway.
- Any alternative Southern, Thameslink, Great Northern or Gatwick Express service via any reasonable route.
