Additional Information:
An issue has been identified on the track and for safety reasons, this must be dealt with as quickly as possible. Track engineers will be attending the location to inspect the fault and confirm the severity of the fault and whether the line can reopen at normal speed, whether a speed restriction is required or whether trains will need to be diverted.
This may be an extended period of time if Network Rail require a block of the line to rectify the fault and make the line safe again. We will provide you with regular updates and inform you when the line has reopened.
