A fault with the overhead electric wires at Hackney Downs is causing disruption to services running through this station. As a result, trains between London Liverpool Street and Hackney Downs may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or diverted.

Due to a problem with the overhead electrical wires in the Hackney Downs area, the following routes will have service alterations:

• Liverpool Street to Hertford East - diverting via Seven Sisters and not calling at Tottenham Hale
• Liverpool Street to Cambridge - diverting via Seven Sisters and not calling at Tottenham Hale
• Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport - diverting via Seven Sisters and not calling at Tottenham Hale
• Hertford East to Liverpool Street - diverting via Stratford, also calling at Tottenham Hale
• Cambridge to Liverpool Street - diverting via Stratford, also calling at Tottenham Hale
• Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street - diverting via Stratford, also calling at Tottenham Hale

Trains will be unable to run through the affected area until Network Rail engineers have ensured that the overhead electrical wires are safe to run under.

Greater Anglia tickets are being accepted on London Underground Victoria Line services between Tottenham Hale and Seven Sisters.

London Overground

Services are currently suspended between London Liverpool Street and Chingford / Enfield Town / Cheshunt. You may use your ticket on London Buses via any reasonable route at no extra cost.
