Lines have now reopened following engineering works not being finished on time between Hitchin and Stevenage. Trains are returning to normal but may still be delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
This is expected until 06:00.

Earlier, we were told that overnight engineering works between Hitchin and the Stevenage area had not finished on time.
All lines are now open. You can use your normal route, but please check your journey before you travel. Some early morning trains between Peterborough / Letchworth Garden City, Stevenage and Central London have experienced minor delays.
