An obstruction on the line between Fratton and Portsmouth Harbour means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised. This is expected until 23:00.

Southern Customer Advice:

Southern services travelling towards Portsmouth & Southsea/Harbour will be disrupted this evening.

Trains are currently being held in platforms, but if you are on-board a train which has come to a stand outside of a station, please remain on the train and await further updates from train crew.

The line towards Portsmouth Harbour is currently blocked meaning that trains cannot run. Services are able to run in the other direction, towards Fratton/Chichester.

We've had reports of a shopping trolley on the track at Fratton, which is currently blocking the line towards Portsmouth.

Response teams are on route and should be on site shortly.
