A fault with the signalling system between Didcot Parkway and Swindon is causing disruption to journeys between these stations. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or diverted.

This is expected until 10:00.

Great Western Railway are having to divert some trains to avoid congestion and further delays to your journey. Some of their high speed long distance trains between Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington will divert between Bath Spa and Reading adding 40 minutes to journey times.

High speed long distance trains between Cheltenham Spa and London Paddington will only run between Cheltenham Spa and Swindon. Customers travelling to or from London Paddington will need to chnage trains at Swindon.

Customers are also advised that due to a separate issue caused by storm damage, high speed long distance trains between South Wales and London Paddington are running at a reduced service.
