Heavy rain has flooded the railway between Derby and Long Eaton, blocking all lines. Trains running between Derby and East Midlands Parkway / Nottingham may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until further notice.

Customer advice

Network Rail are at the flooding site currently reviewing the water levels.

East Midlands Railway

Currently unable to run trains between Derby and Long Eaton, some trains may be diverted via an alternative route.

Services will be suspended between Derby and Nottingham.

At present we have no estimate of when the flooding will recede to allow the train to be safely reopened for trains to run.
