Customer Advice
Thameslink services from Sevenoaks travelling towards London Blackfriars will be diverted between Shortlands and Elephant & Castle. This means that the following stations will not be served in the direction of London Blackfriars:
- Ravensbourne
- Beckenham Hill
- Bellingham
- Catford
- Crofton Park
- Nunhead
- Peckham Rye
- Denmark Hill
If you are travelling from any of these stations to either Elephant & Castle or London Blackfriars, we would advise taking the next train towards Sevenoaks and changing at Shortlands for a London-bound train.Â
Alternatively, you can use an nearby alternative station instead. Tickets will be accepted on any alternative Thameslink, Southern or Southeastern service via any reasonable route.Â
Tickets will also be accepted on TfL Buses between Bromley South and central London. This would be the best option for local journeys between the stations listed above.Â

Can you tell me more about the incident?
A points failure means that we cannot run on the usual route between Sevenoaks and London Blackfriars via Catford. Services will instead be diverted via Herne Hill.
