The lines from Birmingham New Street towards Leicester will reopen shortly following a fault on a freight train between Coleshill Parkway and Nuneaton.

The train is now on the move at a reduced speed. Until staff have confirmed it is safe for CrossCountry services to resume running on the line, trains may be delayed by up to 40 minutes or diverted.

Where trains do divert, Coleshill Parkway and Nuneaton may not be served.
