A fault with the signalling system between Ashford International and Maidstone East means some lines are disrupted. As a result, trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes. This is expected until 12:00.

What's happened?

 

A fault with the signalling system between Charing and Hollingbourne. This means fewer trains can work between Ashford International and Maidstone East. Network Rail are aware of the issue, and are working to fix the fault to allow trains to work as normal.

 

How does this affect my journey?

 

Fewer trains between Ashford International and Maidstone East are able to run.

 

The following trains are amended or cancelled:

 

  • 05:50 Ashford International - Charing Cross: will not work stations between Charing and Kemsing.

 

  • 06:14 Maidstone East - Ahford International

 

  • 06:42  Ashford International - Charing Cross: will not work stations between Charing and Kemsing

 

  • 06:43 Maidstone East - Charing Cross: will start at Otford.

 

 

What do I need to do?

 

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on The London Underground between London Terminals

 

Passengers at stations between Charing and Borough Green & Wrotham for Charing Cross, you can change at Otford or Swanley to connect to a train to London Charing Cross. Alternatively you can use the London Underground to travel between London Terminals.
