Customer Advice
Southern and Thameslink trains may be delayed by up to 5-10 minutes between Horsham and Crawley, heading towards London. This is due to a signalling issue in the Faygate area.
You will still be able to use your normal route for your journey, but please leave extra time.
Can you tell me more about the incident?
Network Rail are working to fix a fault with track circuit equipment at Faygate. Track circuits are electrical devices within the signalling system, used to detect and monitor the passage of trains. When they fail, trains cannot be allowed into the affected area automatically. Instead, drivers have to gain verbal permission to continue, which takes extra time.
