A problem with the signalling system means we are currently unable to run any trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare. This also affects services between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton.
You can use your train ticket, at no extra cost, on the following bus routes:
- First Bus route X1: Weston-Super-Mare - Weston Milton - Worle - Nailsea & Backwell (Crossroads) - Bristol (Bus Station),
- First Bus routes X9: Bristol (Bus Station) - Nailsea
- Buses of Somerset route 21: Taunton (Bus Station) - Bridgwater (Bus Station) - Highbridge & Burnham (George Hotel).
- From Weston-super-Mare, X1 buses to Bristol City Centre depart from Oxford Street Stop U. This is a 6-10 minute walk from the station. Buses depart at xx:16 and xx:46 minutes past each hour. The journey takes approximately an hour.
- From Worle, X1 buses to Bristol City Centre depart from New Bristol Road. This is a 6-10 minute walk from the station. Buses depart at xx:01 and xx:31 minutes past each hour. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Buses to Weston-super-Mare also stop on New Bristol Road and depart at xx:17 and xx:48 minutes past each hour, the journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
- From Nailsea & Backwell, X1 buses to Bristol City Centre depart from the stop at the Crossroads in Backwell on the A370. This is a 15 minute walk from the station. Buses depart at xx:28 and xx:56 minutes past each hour. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Buses to Weston-super-Mare also depart from the Crossroads in Backwell, they depart at xx:23 and xx:52 minutes past each hour and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
