Buses replace trains to / from Manchester Airport on Sunday 1 October

Engineering work is taking place between Manchester Oxford Road and Levenshulme / Mauldeth Road and also between Heald Green and Styal, closing various lines. ​​​​​​​

Northern:

Trains between Blackpool North and Manchester Airport will start / terminate at Manchester Oxford Road.

Trains between Windermere / Barrow-in-Furness and Manchester Airport will start / terminate at Manchester Oxford Road.

Trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Airport / Wilmslow will be diverted to start / terminate at Manchester Victoria.

Rail replacement bus services will run between:

• Bolton and Manchester Airport
• Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport / Wilmslow

It is not yet known how TransPennine Express or Transport for Wales are affected.
