Engineering work that has been carried out over the weekend will not be finished on time at Heckington. This is between Sleaford and Boston and will disrupting trains on the Nottingham / Skegness route until Monday 8 May.

Network Rail have advised that a section of track requires additional time to carry out the repairs. They expect the works to be complete by 12:00 tomorrow.

How does this affect my train?

Trains are unable to run between Sleaford and Boston in both directions whilst Network Rail carry out the repairs.

Trains will run between Nottingham and Sleaford, and Boston and Skegness in both directions.

Replacement buses will operate between Sleaford and Boston in both directions.

As soon as the problem is fixed the priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. East Midlands Railway expect their advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 12:00.

How do I get where I need to be?

You should continue to travel as originally planned, however your journey may be delayed by 60 minutes.

East Midlands Railway have arranged road transport between Boston and Sleaford in both directions to help keep you on the move. This will extend journey times by up to 60 minutes.
